Fatafat Mixture

A very easy and crunchy snack which can be made in just a few minutes. I could not think of any other name for this snack than the same. Go through the recipe you will know why..
Another reason to call it 'Fatafat Mixture' is its finishes off so soon. You can stop one you have started munching it!!
Here is what you will need for 'Fatafat Mixture':
Ingredients:

1 cup plain cornflakes.
¾ cup puffed rice.
¾ cup rice flakes.
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp fennel seeds.
½ tsp cumin seeds.
¼ cup roasted chick peas.
2 tbsp roasted peanut
5-6 curry leaves
½ tsp chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Oil

Process:

Heat a tbsp of oil in a pan. Shallow fry/roast the rice flakes on medium heat with turmeric powder till they are crisp. Keep stirring them so that they do not get burnt. One crisp add the puffed rice and stir well. Keep aside and let it cool down. When cold add the corn flakes and mix well so that the mixture is even.
Heat the remaining oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and fennel seeds. Then add curry leaves and roasted chick peas. Sauté for one minute and take off the gas.
After a minute, add roasted peanuts, salt, sugar and chilli powder. Once it is cold add the rice flakes, puffed rice and cornflakes mixture. Mix well.
When completely cold store it in an airtight container.
Perfect with a cup of tea!!
