Chilli Paneer Wraps

I do not need to profess my love for paneer again. You can check my earlier paneer recipes here. Today I have a wrap with a spicy paneer mixture filling. This one goes to the event- Global Kadai started by Cilantro and this month being hosted by Divya with the theme - Indian flavoured Burrito/Wraps.
Chilli Paneer Wraps:

2 store brought flour tortilla wraps.
Tomato sauce.

For the filling:

200 gm paneer diced into 1 inch cubes.
1 tbsp ghee.
1 tbsp oil.
1 green chilli chopped.
1 tsp grated ginger.
1 large onion chopped.
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper.
2 tomatoes chopped.
Handful of coriander leaves chopped.
2 tbsp tomato sauce.
½ tsp red chilli powder.
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
Salt to taste.

Process:

Shallow fry the paneer cubes in ghee in a pan till they are light golden. Keep aside.
In a pan heat oil. When heated add grated ginger and chopped chillies and sauté for a few seconds. Add half of the chopped onions and tomatoes and reserve the rest. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, till the tomatoes melts and onions are translucent. Add the bell peppers and heat for another 2 minutes. Add all the spices and salt. Stir well. Add paneer, tomato sauce and coriander leaves and mix well such that paneer is well coated with the spiced sauce.
Now heat a flat pan/tava and heat the tortilla wraps as instructed in the pack. Spread tomato sauce on one side of the wrap. Spoon the paneer mixture hot in the middle of the wrap, sprinkle chopped tomatoes and onions. To close the wrap first fold the bottom of the wrap inwards, the fold the sides. Do not over fill it as it will obstruct proper closing of the wrap. Serve hot with any sauce of your choice.
