I do not need to profess my love for paneer again. You can check my earlier paneer recipes here. Today I have a wrap with a spicy paneer mixture filling. This one goes to the event- Global Kadai started by Cilantro and this month being hosted by Divya with the theme - Indian flavoured Burrito/Wraps. Chilli Paneer Wraps:
2 store brought flour tortilla wraps.
For the filling:
200 gm paneer diced into 1 inch cubes.
1 tbsp ghee.
1 tbsp oil.
1 green chilli chopped.
1 tsp grated ginger.
1 large onion chopped.
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper.
2 tomatoes chopped.
Handful of coriander leaves chopped.
2 tbsp tomato sauce.
½ tsp red chilli powder.
¼ tsp turmeric powder.
Salt to taste.
Shallow fry the paneer cubes in ghee in a pan till they are light golden. Keep aside.
In a pan heat oil. When heated add grated ginger and chopped chillies and sauté for a few seconds. Add half of the chopped onions and tomatoes and reserve the rest. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, till the tomatoes melts and onions are translucent. Add the bell peppers and heat for another 2 minutes. Add all the spices and salt. Stir well. Add paneer, tomato sauce and coriander leaves and mix well such that paneer is well coated with the spiced sauce.
