Sun plays a hide and seek game here. There is a joke about Ireland which goes like,' We have 3 summers in a year! One each in April, May and June and all lasts for a day. Well, things are really not that bad. Still, I donot miss out on the opportunity to make these cold goodies whenever it is sunny here.
This light, fruity blend makes a fabulous refresher on a summer day.
Makes 1 glass:
100 ml plain low fat yoghurt.
100 ml milk.1 tbsp sugar.
Crushed Ice (Optional)¼ tsp cardamom powder.
Chopped/sliced pistachios and almonds.
Process:
Using a small, sharp knife, remove the peel from the mango, then slice the flesh away from the seed and roughly chop.
Put the mango, yoghurt, milk, cardamom powder and sugar in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy.Pour into a glass with a handful of crushed ice(optional). Decorate with chopped nuts and serve immediately.
Sending this off to Srivalli's 'Thanda Mela'. Enjoy!!
